- Demonstrate good sportsmanship—win or lose.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic.
- Refrain from the use of alcohol, drugs, or vaping.

Parent Guidelines

Parents play an essential role in creating a positive environment for athletes.

- Encourage and support your child and the entire team.
- Allow coaches to coach—avoid coaching from the sidelines.
- Direct questions or concerns to the coaching staff privately and respectfully.
- Follow the “24-Hour Rule”: wait one day before discussing meet-related issues with a coach.
- Volunteer when possible (timing, team snacks, chaperoning).
- Demonstrate sportsmanship toward all athletes, coaches, and officials.
